Professor Roland R. Knobbout is a public prosecutor in The Hague, the Netherlands.  He was chairman of the national multidisciplinary committee advising on the victimhood of human trafficking, chairman of the Victim Information Counter, The Hague (VIC) and board member of the Dutch Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund. He also worked as deputy head mutual tax assistance on the Dutch Ministry of Finance and was in former days a tax collector.
